OUR VISION
What if our buildings connected us to the Natural World instead of separating us?
Sustainable Acoustic Solutions
Replacing environmentally degrading acoustic panels with equally performative Seacork panels that are 100% compostable and carbon negative.
Rethinking Relationships
Revolutionizing the approach to material development by prioritizing the life of the natural resource in its ecosystem as a greater value than that of the final product made from it.

INTRODUCING

Annie Dahan
Founder & CEO
Masters, Architecture
Annie is trained as an architect and passionate about creating spaces that induce curiosity and connection to local ecosystems. Through her work designing with low impact circular materials, she strives to inspire a cultural shift that rethinks our relationship with the natural world. Outside of work, Annie can be found exploring the great outdoors and the tiny creatures within it.
Eric Warner
Director of Operations
Eric serves as Director of Operations at Seacork, overseeing strategic growth through supply chain development, business systems, and organizational management. He builds relationships with seaweed suppliers while developing the infrastructure and strategies that enable the company to scale its impact in the regenerative materials space. Eric brings 4 years of experience from one of the largest forest restoration projects in Latin America, where he led reporting, partnerships, and marketing efforts. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Concordia University. When not in the office, Eric can be found freediving and foraging for seaweed and other marine life along the BC coastline.

Adrian Lopera-Valle
Innovation Manager
PhD, Materials Engineering
Adrian is an impact-driven engineer with over 12 years of experience researching, developing, and implementing sustainable materials and manufacturing solutions. He’s a successful product and business developer, grant writer, technical consultant and thought leader in circular innovation in materials, manufacturing, and construction. Adrian supports technical aspects of product and business development, including the design of experiments, material formulation, characterization and manufacturing.

Frédéric Murphy
Production Technician
M.A.Sc., Chemical Engineering
Frédéric is a team builder and hands-on engineer who enjoys tackling complex challenges. With a background spanning entrepreneurship, biotechnology, chemical engineering, controls, and electrochemical systems, he brings a multidisciplinary approach to problem-solving and process development. With over five years of experience in sustainable engineering research, Frédéric leads the scale-up and implementation of the manufacturing site for acoustic panel production. He also plays a key role in translating R&D discoveries into pilot-scale processes, helping move innovations from the lab to real-world manufacturing

Charlotte Olagnon
Material Scientist
PhD, Biochemistry
Charlotte is a biochemist who loves tackling complex problems and finding creative solutions. She has over 8 years of experience in academic research and development through her PhD and postdoctoral projects in carbohydrate chemistry and enzyme discovery, expertise she is now bringing into the field of sustainable materials and circular innovation. Passionate about collaboration and scientific communication, she’s motivated to use research as a driver for positive change. Outside of work, you’ll most likely find her climbing, skiing, or exploring underground landscapes.

Christine Trinh
Material Scientist
Christine is a chemist who enjoys hands-on R&D and process development. She has experience working in industry and academia, spanning areas like quality assurance and novel materials research. Her area of expertise is in biomaterial formulation and dewatering, having experience developing biodegradable packaging from fiber and seaweed. Christine supports material formulation and lab-scale R&D to bring sustainable acoustic panels to life. Outside the lab, Christine enjoys playing pickleball and building the perfect fantasy hockey team.

Sreya Gopisetty
Communications & Product Design Intern
Sreya is an industrial designer and Master of Design candidate at Emily Carr University of Art & Design. Her practice bridges material innovation and storytelling, creating visual and product experiences that communicate the ecological and tactile qualities of materials. She designs product experiences and visual systems that bring material stories to life, with a strong focus on valuing lived experiences and human perspectives in every project. Passionate about inclusive, nature-centered design, Sreya brings a thoughtful and collaborative approach to every project. When not designing, she’s either observing textures in her surroundings or fiercely defending her title at table tennis.
